OUR MISSION​
Third City Project promotes the well-being of people and communities impacted by the criminal legal system by shining a light on health data behind the walls. We advocate for data transparency and ethical health care policies grounded in science.
*2.3 million is a point-in-time estimate that represents the constantly fluctuating United States population affected by various forms of correctional control, including federal & state prisons, local jails, youth confinement, involuntary commitment, parole, and probation. Exact, comprehensive data is not currently tracked by any one entity.
